Logistics Account Manager:

As a Logistics Account Manager at Hometown, you will focus on building a portfolio of clients which require freight brokerage services. Our hands-on sales, problem-solving, negotiating, and operations training will help you learn the skills you need to excel at Hometown and beyond. Job Requirements/Daily Responsibilities:

  • Confident decision-making skills
  • Develop ongoing relationships with customers/carriers via telephone and email
  • Dispatch drivers and perform customer service duties
  • Sales, pricing, negotiating service requirements, and closing new business
  • 125 daily outbound phone calls and 30 emails to build your book of business
  • Multi-tasking ability
  • Great communication skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Bring a great attitude and high work ethic each day
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms preferred
  • Microsoft office skills preferred


Job Type: Full-time

Pay Type: Annual Salary + Commission, most team members are making $60,000 + at the end of their first year and $100,000+ by the end of their second year.
